Amir H. Moin is a staff researcher of the Software and Systems Engineering (SSE) department at fortiss GmbH, An-Institut Technische Universität München, an independent non-for-profit publicly funded research center, which is affiliated with Technische Universität München (TUM, Technical University of Munich).
He has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Informatics (Computer Science) from Universität des Saarlandes (UdS, Saarland University) in Saarbrücken, Saarland, Germany. During his studies, he has worked at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI, German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence) in Saarbrücken from April 2011 until September 2013, where he has contributed to several international, European and German research projects in the fields of Text Mining, Natural Language Processing (NLP) as well as Model-Driven Software Engineering (MDSE) for Multi-Agent Systems (MAS).
During his Bachelor's studies, Amir did a successful internship in summer 2010 in the Information Systems department at fortiss. Since October 2013, he is working as a full-time staff researcher at fortiss. In his current position in the Software and Systems Engineering (SSE) department at fortiss, he conducts research and development in the field of Model-Driven Software Engineering (MDSE) for Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) and the Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
